I love it how I've been learning so much about myself lately. Due to certain reasons a lot of my passions and interests had to be either kept locked away or calmed down constantly when I was growing up, and it kept preventing me from both developing my future oriented self and being happier. I feel like I've only started coming out to the world with my real self two years ago, and ever since then I've really seen myself coming to life, which I am tremendously thankful for.
It's a great experience when that happens. Keep developing yourself and that never goes away!
ReplyDeleteHow freeing!!
ReplyDeleteIt's never too late dear Julia... glad you found yourself again. xoxo
ReplyDeleteYour "real self"... that is an interesting way to word it. I think I know what you mean. It's when the true nature of your intentions comes to the surface and manifests. And your mind is in harmony with your body.
ReplyDeleteJulia, I have no doubt you're in touch with your "real self" :)
How wonderful that this seems to be a process that continues throughout life! Always nice to have the freedom to grow in to more of who you are.
ReplyDeleteKeep developing yourself and that never goes away!

Thank you, everyone!
ReplyDeleteGropius, indeed, we never stop learning and this is pretty awesome!
Graham, I like the part about "coming to the surface and manifesting" especially :)
How refreshing to find a true voice, not afraid to open up. I'm very glad to have found you xx
ReplyDeleteAw thank you!!
ReplyDeleteI relate to this a lot. Isn't it just the best feeling?
ReplyDeleteDaisychain, exactly, feels so good... You realize that you're alive!

I'm happy for you Julia, it really is the best thing.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carrie and Arty!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know your personal circumstances, but I came from a similar place. There is nothing being able to stretch your wings and finally fly free after years in a cage. I'm so glad you've reached that place. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh this is beautifully put, Treacle! Thank you :) I'm happy you've reached the place too ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat post....i couldnt agree more...i think that is something that happens to all of people..!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope so!
