No Need to Pretend to Be Busy

When you spend over a week gathering papers from various places and paying your duties where due in order to file documents to be processed at your local tax inspectorate, then wait 6 days, they turn you down and tell you you need to start the whole process all over again, you're supposed to be upset. I'm, surprisingly, not. I mean, it's all fine... At least I have stuff to add to my schedule. It's all about being positive, I'm telling you. This all should be over eventually, sooner than later. I'm learning in the process, thank you.

"Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you'll find one at the end of your arm..." - Audrey Hepburn

  1. Wow, sounds like you're super busy!!! It'll feel way better though when it's alllll over =) You can have yourself a nice big glass of beer/wine (or both?)!! =)

    (Btw, I love AudreyHepburn!)

  2. Atleast your busy, there's nothing more that turns me off is a person that has no responsibility, sits on their ass all day & just let's life pass them by. That's why I love to work overtime, not only am I earning more money but I keep myself busy. Good for you Julia! <3

  3. it's a good thing that you remain positive but from the start...???!!!again the same things??
i wouldn't have that positive thinking!!that's for sure!

  4. I love you girl... keep up the positive spirit. You are awesome! xoxo

  6. okay, love that quote and I love this post. My Sister and her husband just went through intense American immigration (he's British) so the stress of the process has been all I've been hearing about for awhile. I hope you have much peace as you go through your own! I think government companies always tend to be a bit difficult... (sorry, tangent) anyway, very true: staying busy is always so much better than being bored.

  7. haha.... I wish I can be busy-proof-bee but that's not possible w/ 3 kids around ... and a big kid,my hubby!!!

However, you are right, keep going is a way of feeling "living" and "lived"!!!

  8. ..I am with you with this one : )I look at this like ' you can always learn more from practise and that will gives you more experience ' so in a way it's good to do all over again .. but it is a bit anoying thought , good you had a time to do all over again , if not , then you would be a bit angry I guess ; )

I appreciate you taking the time to connect and share your thoughts, so thank you for your comment! And while you're at it... Why not tell me what you're thankful for today? ;-)
