Lunch-ing

The following thankful post is long overdue, I have to say!.. I'm thankful for our new lunches at work. Before, we used to have our office fridge stuffed with all those frozen ready made meals, which I barely ever ate so I had to cook my own lunches and take them to work (I care about my healthy eating habits a whole lot); but now, we have real lunches delivered to the office daily and I couldn't be happier about it! I also love it how I now have such a great chance to plan my meals ahead and to make sure I eat a variety of foods weekly without having to cook a thing!.. All I have to do is choose and order, awesome!
What and how do you eat at work?

  1. ..well , when I used to work at hotel it couldn't be better , we could have everything from bufet style breakfast and variety of food at dinner time - in summertime cold soup was my favorite ..at the moment I eat mostly raw vegetable salads with cheese etc ..and I can't say no to cakes - it's my weakness : )
..I absolutely hate frozen food ..it's no no for me ..

    Have a great weekend ..

  2. Well, I normally bring my own breakfast. Today I had a whole wheat english muffin with pb, 2 turkey sausage links, 1/2 banana, and blueberries... And the company I work for provides us with pretty yummy lunches. Sometimes they're healthy, sometimes they're not so healthy, like a "plate lunch" that consists of Chicken Katsu, macaroni salad, and white rice, but it's still so yummy! :) Hope you're having a fab day Julia! Big hug.

  5. Oh how cool is THAT? I love it! I am a terrible eater at work for two reasons. 1.) Lots of organizations hold special events in our building and the terribly rich food ends up in our bellies afterward. It's hard resist. and 2.) I am the world's worst at bringing my lunch to work, which means I get my food from a restaurant almost everyday. So bad! Wastes money and builds on calories. I hope there's help for me!

  6. That's awesome. My boyfriend makes our lunches every morning! Usually salads or a sandwich, nothing fancy.. but I'm pretty picky that way. And he always includes a little note with mine.. I'm thankful for that :)

  7. wow! That sounds amazing. I don't work, but I volunteer at a natural foods store, so I eat all of the yum stuff there...like gruyere cutlets which are actually myco-protein (fungus!)
