Being a Woman

There are more than one disadvantage to it, but at the end of the day I can't help but love being a woman. It's true, all true - sometimes I don't let things go and try to hold on, sometimes I need too much and want to depend on you, sometimes I get emotional, get vulnerable and sometimes I'm just out of control. But if you really think of it, my vulnerability is exactly what makes me a woman, and no matter how much I'd like to experience being a man for a day, I wouldn't have it any other way long term. I'm thankful for being a woman, for enjoying to show my appreciation of being a woman and for being the kind of woman that I am.

  1. I second that or was it third, lol.I wouldnt change it for anything in this world.Great blog Julia!

  2. it's first time I write in this very original blog, I can just say you are right to be proud to be a woman - a very special woman ;)

  3. Every woman is so special and I owe utmost respect to each one of them...yes you should be proud to be one..Cheers to the womanhood

  4. Thank you everyone! :)

Rodolfo Montanari, thank you very much!! I didn't find another way to reply so saying my thanks here - hope you get to see I said thanks! :)

  5. I don't deserve your thanks.

I love all women, but moreover really love special women like you.

See you soon here.. and hopefully elsewhere, never say never ;)

  6. I COULDN'T AGREE MORE!! Like.. sometimes I think, yes, I'm a WOMAN and I DO overthink things, overtalk things, overcry things... and I would like to know how to be different, I'd like to be less sensible. But this is our nature, some less some more and you know what? Because our sensibility we can experience and feel so many great things, without what life wouldn't be as half as thrilling as it is! And even if sometimes I wish I had more some of those qualities men have, I'm still thankful for being a woman- a creature full of mysteries and nature wonders.

Another important thing which came in my mind while writing this comment, is that we should be thankful for feeling thankful for who we were born. I hope you understand what I mean.

  7. This is a good one! Couldn't agree more.. GIRL POWER! :D

  11. Me too!!!!! I love femininity and how far we've come and how I get to be because of it. Being a woman is a dear gift (though like you, I would like to experience it from the other side once).

  12. Yes, it is great isn't it. It isn't easy at times but it sure has so many pros :)
