Scrambled Eggs

I'm thankful for my ultimate breakfast favorite - scrambled eggs. Ever since I traveled to the US in 2007, where I used to eat it daily during my stay, I got hooked. And I've been cooking them almost every morning ever since, which makes it more than 2 years of practice now... and also makes me sometimes proudly declare that I make perfect scrambled eggs (even if maybe I don't have the right to, ha).

What do you guys eat for breakfast?

P.S. The picture above is taken in Salou, Spain, and not in Miami, USA. The scrambled eggs meal featured was not made by me also, it's a restaraunt meal.

  1. I enjoy eating scrambled eggs too, with some ketchup on top. I don't eat this every day though. It's either ham/cheese toast or cereal and always with coffee.

  2. Arty, what do people eat for breakfast in Greece traditionally though? I'm sure there must be something! The country is still on my must visit list so I that's one thing I don't really know for sure yet, but curious about ;)

  3. I think most greeks make do with a quick coffee and perhaps a freshly baked cheese pie with filo pastry. They aren't really keen on big breakfasts from what I gather. We've so many bakeries here so it's hard not indulging on those cheese pies or choc filled croissants.
I'm sure many families opt for healthier breakfasts with cereal, sandwiches, eggs and such and I doubt Greece differs from other countries.
Ohh, what they're particularly fond of is crushed tomato with olive oil and some salt on bread. It's quite tasty :)

  4. Yeah, I know what you mean, the modern worl everyone can eat anything, which results in all nations eating alike... But now that you mentioned the cheese pie it sounds more specific to me :) And believe it or not, I've never heard of anyone eating CRUSHED tomatoes with olive oil with salt on bread, now that must be it, something more or less traditionally Greek! :)

  7. I am a big lover of breakfast! One of my favourites is an old-fashioned bowl of warm porridge, sweetened with strawberries and blueberries! It reminds me of when I used to live at home and my mom cooked for me : )
