No Jerks

I'm thankful I've been lucky enough to have never been involved with a jerk. Things might had not worked out beautifully between us for the most part, but all of the men in my life have been very decent guys, which sometimes makes it tougher on you though - it's always easier to convince yourself you "don't need this jerk in your life no more"... But life is life, good things come to an end too! Thanks to each one of them for teaching me very precious things about this thing called life.

  2. You truly are a lucky duck! It's truly hard to breakaway from a jerk, especially once feelings have developed; I need to embrace the "no jerks" motto myself!! :)

  5. Kristin, a great thing to be thankful for :)

Cafe Fashionista, for some people it's just hard to breakaway from anyone who they got emotionally close with... It's really hard for me to let go off people, but unfortunately I've experienced quite some of those.

Savvy Gal, good reason to be thankful too!

    Leah, I am :)

  9. Oh my, that is TOTALLY something to be thankful for. Strangely, the jerks I have been involved with I am also thankful for. They have made me the wiser, giving me great jerk-radar. :)

Women carrying emotional baggage are a turnoff.

(I'm excited to read all your posts from the past week. I've been traveling for so long now, but I'm finally home.)

  14. Hmmm, it's funny that you're saying this... I happen to have a lot of emotional baggage, it's just not really men related. But I do have issues. Thank you for saying this, you might be onto something with this remark!! Honestly, thank you :)

I'm happy you are back!! You've been traveling waaaay too long lol And welcome back home! :)

  15. Thanks! It sounds funny but I really missed exchanging comments with you... and all the weird coincidences that seem to occur between us.

As for the baggage, I think we all carry something with us, of course. It's just when the issues lead to constant, negative talk that they feel too burdensome. I feel like you are self-aware and positive-minded, though, and I admire you for that.
