Time Heals Everything?

They say time heals everything... It's not easy to judge how true the saying is when you haven't lived enough (those who have don't really use computers, I believe), but one thing is certain - time does teach you how to cope with hurts. With each new time it gets esier both to let go and get back on your feet. If back in the day I used to think I couldn't make it, now I always know I can. Knowing this is helpful in itself, and I am thankful for it.

"The best words of encouragement your mind would yield to, are those spoken to it by you" - Leussa Adrienne

  1. I agree with you...time indeed heals all wound.

  2. I am with you and Leah... another thoughtful and lovely post, darling!

  3. I absolutely agree. Knowing that even though things hurt, it won't destroy you is something to be thankful for.

  4. Thank you, ladies.

Treacle, yes, I guess I'm growing up :)

  5. i agree completely. :)time definately helps when dealing with pain.

  6. Time adds perspective that we can't find any other way. Sometimes I wish it didn't also blur the vivid nature of some memories the way it does--the kind you'd always like to hold on to!

  7. Indeed! time heals all wounds. I really love your blog Julia. It reminds me of the small things I tend to forget.

  8. I think time does heal if you let it; beautiful post.

  10. Thank you, everyone!!

Gropius, I know what you mean about another perspective, true.

    Betz, thank you :)

Sophie, I agree about one needing to let it heal you. A lot of times we prevent ourselves from living/feeling/healing, like our own worst enemies.

  11. The time we put on our site. We enjoy the good because it is over and we must be patient with the bad things that happen to us because it ends happily.
    A muaaaaaaaaa

  12. its something that its true...for sure!
time heals every matter how hard it looks...
    i know from myself.

  13. Mariona, there's something in what you're saying...

JP, good to know. I am just glad time teaches me :)

  14. Very true..In the beginning it is hard looking at the moment thinking it will never get better, but a year or two sometimes down the road, you find you are stronger for the pain.

  15. Very true, it definately makes you stronger.

I appreciate you taking the time to connect and share your thoughts, so thank you for your comment! And while you're at it... Why not tell me what you're thankful for today? ;-)
