I'm especially thankful for meaningful hearty conversations that last till the sun comes up because they don't happen often, and each such experience is overwhelmingly delightful and unique.
I know exactly what you mean....I have a great friend who I hardly ever see anymore, but when we do get together or talk on phone...we can just sit and talk for several hours.
Ohhh... This is something I had forgotten. When I was younger, I remember I used to have these kind of talks all the time with my friends at my place.. The one I remember the most, is me (I was only 15 back then), my friend and her mom and dad, talking about their youth while smoking narghile.. Until the sunrise. And the thing I remember the most is the how everytime we talked and shared our visions I discovered a whole new world for me. I used to be so much more opened & naive, I guess we all are, when we're younger.. he, this came out long:)
I'm your newest follower! I see you all the time over at Gropius's place and I thought I'd stop by to say hi. I just read today that gratefulness is one of the top 7 things you can do to live longer...so I figure that following you will be good for my health!
i love your blog. looking on the bright side of things is so important and i feel like once you let your positivity flow, it just becomes easier to live in a positive manner. woo for blogging !
I agree!! I 1000% agree with this ;) There is nothing better than getting lost in a conversation and truly connecting with someone, no matter how late the night gets!
I just got a flash of a feeling when I read your post. I really, really miss those. Now that it's rotating in my mind, maybe I'll manifest it this weekend :)
Guillaume, haha preferably no breakfast if I spent all night talking... My tummy is not very appreciative of such experiments, so sleep goes first this time!! :)
Café Naïveté, I truly love and appreciate your thoughtful and beautiful comments, so keep them coming and no worries about them being long! I love to read, and reading something that's written honestly and in an inspiring manner is always great!
For The Fierce, you're very welcome :)
Cynthia@RunningWithLetters, hi and welcome :) If reading my blog has potential benefit of being good for someone's health then it would make all the more thankful and happy! haha
Sammy, thanks! It's true - one need to just give it a try and then it gets easier with each new step.
Madeleine, thank you!!
Graham, ha, lucky someone! If you add some hugs to it and some coffee it would be an even happier experience :)
Elizabeth Marie, thanks! That's a happy thing indeed! :)
..hello darlin ..heartful conversations!I'm not had them for a while and I miss them a lot ..for me there is only very few people like that ..I had a friend - my first and last ever soulmate ,we hade friendship to understand each other thoughts ,to see each others souls and to hear each others hearts ..these conversationa are always in my memory and I cherish them ..we are in different countries now but we still feel the same connection as before ..I think it gives you feeling of ' belonging ' that there is someone who listen ,understands and sometimes even silence between can be conversation , because soul can whisper without any words ..I hope you understand what I mean and it don't sound too messy : )
Ellinelle, oh I definately know what you mean! Great to hear you have such a meaningful freindship in your life and what's even better is that you've managed to keep it alive despite the long distance!
It's too bad that more people can't experience the joy of hearty conversations, hugh? Some folks live in a bubble of small talk. I hate it for them! I'm grateful for the "soul" exchanges I've had with kindred spirits over the years.
Haha, Graham, this doesn't really require too good of a memory to remember that... You've just told it to me a few days ago! And well, is there really such thing as too much goodness? :)
I appreciate you taking the time to connect and share your thoughts, so thank you for your comment! And while you're at it... Why not tell me what you're thankful for today? ;-)
