I got treated to some truly perfect service at a local Raiffeisen bank today, and good service is something I'm always thankful for. So thanks to mynew bank for making me feel happy to have chosen them!
Oh yes, I remember when working in the shop I tried my best to make the clients happy. I think it's a nice way to make service, the clients are happy, you are happy, simple, isn't it:) Though there were times when I had some pretty annoying (and excuse me) stupid clients.. but you just need patience!
Definitely, good service is to be treasured! Last week my daughter and I received excellent service at our local Apple store (as in Mac, not produce). We were so thrilled, we gushed profusely about our restored faith in customer service, community and justice...and promptly went to lunch where we, um, saw some contrast that made us appreciate it all the more...
Aaahh, customer service. Now THAT is something that, surprisingly, you just don't get everyday! Definitely something to be thankful for. Wish that bank was in the US. :)
thats good! atleast you do, the chase bank by me is retarted... this bitch that works there, i forgot what you call it, yeah the customer representatives that sit at their desks & open up accounts for new customers, when I went to go open one she was being really pushy, & trying to force/convince me to do all these dumb things about a credit/debit card & i felt uncomfortable. She thought that just 'cause I was young she could bribe me into something I didn't wanna do. Dumb bitch, so i went to another branch & got better service
I hate bad service, especially at a resturaunt. You still feel obligated to tip them the minimum even if they sucked. The worst is when you're shopping but because you dress the part no one will help you. Hate it.
Café Naïveté, good serves happens when people like you work with clientelle. I believe someone who hates and disrespects people in general can never really provide good service.
Cynthia@RunningWithLetters, I really hope the lunch experience didn't ruin your lifted spirits after all? :)
Christine, true. Some people think that just because you're young they can bribe you into anything - a very good example of a very bad service. I believe you should treated as equal.
Julia oh Julia, I think this is one of those posts that really epitomizes your blog. You encourage us to seek out the small things in life that make our days more pleasant. Of course there are the big events and celebrations and rites-of-passage, but it's things like this that really make up the fabric of our lives.
Hello Julia .. Good serviss can make your day that's so true ..well , I have been working in hotel for some while so I know what it means , customers actually came back to hotel because of 'smiley team' - we was called like that : )..and also to being nice to someone makes you happy as well , it's just brilliant way of passing good energy around .. I 'm so happy in England people actually is very naturaly polite what I can't say about my home country - sour faces in every shop .. ..I'm glad you had a good serviss : )))
Ellinelle, yep, what goes around comes around - by making other people feel good you eventually feel good yourself! And I totally know what you're saying about "sour faces". It's not really rudeness I guess, just a mentality :(
I appreciate you taking the time to connect and share your thoughts, so thank you for your comment! And while you're at it... Why not tell me what you're thankful for today? ;-)
