I'm feeling very thankful for getting back in touch with a friend of mine from a year back. We used to have so much fun - scary movies, street racing, night outs, ice skating and whatnot - until our mutual female friend ruined it all (women are such jealous creatures for the most part). Our friendship might never be the same again and maybe me and him won't be hanging out again any time soon, but I love it how when we chat now it feels like we've never stopped talking.
getting back in touch with an old friend is indeed something to be thankful for! (but i hope that mutual female friend isn't your friend anymore ;))
ReplyDeleteSo cool! Yesterday I saw my dear friend Amber who I haven't gotten to hang out with lately...we were practically talking on top of one another's sentences trying to catch up. It was so wonderful to see her.

Keeping in touch with friends is so beautiful! Even when you lose touch, it is such a nice feeling to know you can "pick up where you left off" so amazing ;)
ReplyDeleteI agree with "women are jealous creatures", one of my closest friends is a guy, & one of his ex gf's hated when he was around me - because not only did he used to like me & she knew about it, but because she probably felt inferior. Me & him are great friends, really close too, but alot of people take it differently. We've heard from numerous people that we should go out, or that people think were going out. My own bf doesn't even like him... but thats a whole nother story!

Meeting up with old friends is always fun. It's amazing how 'at home' you feel with an old friend too.
