I Know I Can

I'm thankful for people who discourage and make you question yourself and your ideas. Encountering such people puts your aspirations to the test, leaving out the unnecessary things and making space for the worthy ones, and it also makes you really appreciate those people in your life who give you strength and make you believe in yourself and what you do.

  1. Its so true, we dont realize our true potential unless we are hurt. its a good way to bounce back in life. Good thought.

  2. now this is a though one. I hate to doubt in myself and in my ideas.. and I hate when other people do it even more. I guess it's a one big flaw I have and I still can't get over it... but it really depends on the situation: there are moments when the other people's doubts give me strenght and make me wanna prove they are oh-so-wrong!! :)

  3. Good realization. Those kind of people just make me realize that I have a better LIFE than them.

  4. I've never thought of thanking discouragers, but you have a couple good points!

I had a friend who used to tell me he loved it when people told him he couldn't do something because it would only push him that much more.

  7. That's a great way to make lemonade from lemons! Good going on having such strength to see it this way. It's a healthy way to look at those people, especially if you're not surrounded by them all the time. I know you're not!

  8. Perfect. I totally agree. Along those same lines, I am thankful that I am at a point where such naysayers do not bother me. I'm okay with people not liking me- that doesn't mean I go around and am rude but not everyone will like you so why sweat it if a peripheral person goes out of their way to be rude?
