Vitamin D

One of the thankful people on The 'Thank You' Project's Facebook page reminded me I have never given thanks to and for the Sun, which is pretty amusing since I love it so much - talk about taking for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude!.. Sun equals life, basically! I'm thankful for the energizing and mood lifting effect the Sun has always had on me - I swear I'm a much more cheerful person when it's the sunny season here where I live. Do you change when it's sunny?

  2. This is one of those days i feel i have nothing to be thankful for...i know it's not true bue i feel so sad and stressed with this countray and his bureaucracies you have no idea.
An agency acepted me to make an internship and altough i already sent the papers to Lisbon (this was in April) it's not aproved yet. I feel like they're kidding me and joking with my life.

So if i'm thankful for something today it would be the possibility to move to another countrie. Cause i know i am the kind of girl who will do it as soon as possible.

  4. Yes, the sun surely a blessing in disguise. How by just sitting in the sun gives us Vitamin D, isn't it amazing? ...

  5. I SO AGREE!!! You don't know how my attitude and mood has changed since I moved from Estonia to Italy. In Estonia people tend to have more depression as the sun is so rare to see during the winter time.. it can be for weeks with out the light... here on the otherhand we have maximum of 5 days without the sun and that's quite rare! :) thank you for this post!

  6. Yes, Vitamin D is certainly worthy of thankfulness! Without that sunlight, we might all go through Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seasonal_affective_disorder#Physiology . The color yellow also seems to improve mood, and the sun has yellow in spades!

  7. Totally agree... when I wake up & the sun's up, it means my day starts well! Rain just gets me down for no reason! it's just ugly... but I love the warmth & the glow the sun gives me!

  8. ..oh my God Julia ..that is what I'm talking about : ) here in UK ..SUN changes everything for me ..I just love sun and hot hot hot weather and I feel like 'fish in the water' when sun is around ..and sometimes with no reason I feel so depressed here because of the grey weather , no summer no winter ( even in winter in our countries we get some sun right! )but here is just grey ..
..I just have so much energy from the sun , my whole life changes ..funny , it's just a sun but makes such an impact for humans ..

p.s ..oh yes Julia , all picture are taken by me : ) I 'm loving my baby N ..he he he

  9. Yay for sun!!!!!!! Seriously. I'm always in a better mood when it's sunny and nice outside. The best is when it's really snowy but also sunny, always makes things better (except when I want to nestle in with soup and a movie, then I enjoy the rain)
