"I'm glad you are upset" - the only kind of situation where saying something like this is acceptable is when you tell a co-worker you'll be leaving the workplace for good and your colleague is genuinely let down by the fact that you won't be seen in the office any more. With this being said, I'm very thankful you're upset!
Nice post...
ReplyDeleteAlso, I wanted to inform you that I've started a new Social project called- I BLOG FOR A CAUSE , I want you to be part of it. Please do visit the link. Thank You to the "Thank You" girl :)

That really means you're appreciated!
ReplyDeletehaha, so did this happen to you today?!?! Moving jobs? I would also say that if a boyfriend and I mutually broke up. I would be happy our break up meant something to him, haha.
ReplyDeleteAlso, it was a diet coke and rum. I hadn't had one in forever but it sounded soo good and it was just as refreshing as I thought.
love it! sad when a co-worker leaves... it is truly upsetting!
ReplyDeleteDid this happen to you? Anyway, this is a pretty unique "thank you" situation. But it does feel good to be appreciated :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely, Maybe
Very nice, but usually for people who are nice. In my case, it would not be... i dont get along with many of my co workers.
ReplyDeleteSo true (and heartwarming). I work with a staff of people that come and go. There are very few people I will genuinely miss.
