USSR

Coming to think of it, I'm really thankful I was born in the USSR. How cool is that to be born in a country that doesn't exist any more? How weird is that? How unusual is the fact that no one's ever going to be born in the same country that I was? Ha!

  1. Hello Julia, I ran across your blog through Good.is and happened to click on your picture. I am from America and am working on a large dairy farm in Vladimir Oblast. I have been here a year. I guess the reason I am writing is to just make contact with other English speaking people in Russia. Anyway I will keep track of your blog. God Bless

  2. Hello Paul, thanks for writing! Hope you like it there where you are in Vladimir Oblast, although I am sure the year hasn't been too easy.
