Quotes

I'm really into collecting and using various quotes. In my opinion, a good quote can lift your mood instantly, can inspire you, can make you think and sometimes even change your mindset, and if you use it in writing it can really help bring out the idea of your writing work. So I'm thankful for the whole idea of quoting in general.

  1. I love that quote... don't cry when the sun is gone because the tears won't let you see the stars.

I love quotes... I have my favorite quote in my wall.

  5. Great idea! So simple yet so profound.

Sometimes I spend a whole hour on ThinkExist.com or some other ones. What's your favorite quote site, if any?

  6. Couture Carrie, yay, the mutual hobby :)

Graham, I don't really have a favorite website for quotes... Sometimes I just see one I like in a magazine (like the one pictured above), take something from a book I'm reading, or stumble across one elsewhere on the web... I keep them, if I like them and go back to them if and when I need. I'm kind of picky when it comes to quotes, still haha

  7. We use a lot of quotes at work with our communications, and I couldn't live without them! My favorite quote (today, I'm sure it will change) came from Henry David Thoreau, describing society in the mid-1800's: "It lives too fast." Imagine what he would say now!!!
