Dreamy

Reading my fellow blogger Gropius' latest post on dreams and their meaning, I thought it was time to give thanks for my dreams and the signs they sometimes give me. Of course, not all of our dreams are supposed to provide guidance and lead us in life but some of them give amazing insight on what's really happening inside of our minds. I'm thankful for the additional help.

  1. My dreams are so convoluted and by the time I wake up, I've forgotten them?!

  2. I have CRAZY dreams. Some the meaning is obvious after I think about what's happening in my life. Some, I'm not sure I want to know!

  3. I'm thankful for my dreams too... and I'm thankful that I can dream even if I'm awake. Hahaha! I love to daydream.

  4. Nina, the best solution is to wake up in the middle of the night and write it all down :) lol

Michael, haha! I think I know what you mean :)

Leah, isn't it funny though that seeing dreams when asleep and awake are called the same - dreaming? I always thought that was weird, it's not like that in Russian language, hmm :S

  6. There was a time I was interesting in reading about dreams and their interpretations too. Very interesting. I've often dreamed dreams of my teeth falling in the palm of my hand like small pebbles. Not a pleasant one and from what I understand, a dream like that means worry.

I hope your dreams are pleasant ones. :)

  8. Thanks for that mention. And you know, as disturbing or as strange as dreams can sometimes be, I am sooo grateful to have them. I've met people who insist they never have dreams. They must, but don't remember them. I appreciated your thoughts about my dream & think you're right on target. Sweet dreams, Thanksgiving One.

  9. Oh Arty, this is one of the most unpleasant dreams ever... had it a few times and I remember each time when I woke up I made sure I checked all of my teeth are still there lol

Thanks, Jeune :) Well, maybe you're just not meant to remember your dreams? Like Michael said, maybe sometimes it's really best not to know!

Gropius, you're very welcome! I agree, everyone has dreams, I even heard some scientist on tv saying something in the lines of "if you don't have dreams you are dead". I believe this is true :) And THANK YOU :)

  11. Dreams are fun to interpret, but sometimes I'm skeptical about what meanings they really hold. Do you remember your dreams often?

  12. Graham, when I wake up and think about that night's dream right away I usually remember them and lots of details about them... But if I get up and get distracted I can easily forget in like 10 minutes. If I want to remember a certain dream I just retell it to myself first thing upon wakening and then I'll remember it for like the whole week :)
