Signs

Along with believing in destiny, thankfulness, fairness, dreams, intuition and coincidences, I believe in signs. Signs that life sends us. Sometimes they leave me speechless, sometimes they bring joy, sometimes they give much needed hope. I'm thankful one sign can be helpful in a hopeful situation, and I'm thankful one sign can chop off my wings when I get hopelessly dreamy.

  1. Reading signs takes an open mind and an open heart. I can see why you receive so many.

  2. The incredibly personal nature of signs that come to you at just the right time, with just the right answer is something that restores all faith in the world!

  3. SIGNs... hum...it takes wisdom to actually get it!! I know many people are looking for signs but sometimes too many options or I should say to many signs are a misleading thing. I would love to see SIGNS for something I am confused about and I would be thankful to read the sign correctly. :)

  4. This reminds of the scene in Sex & The City when Miranda can't decide what to do about her marriage and looks at the mirror and sees a coffee-stache and realizes she wants to be with Steve.

  5. Graham, thank you! You always cheer me up with your comments.

Gropius, true, although I realize sometimes it helps destroy the faith too... But one's supposed to be thankful for getting a sign before making a mistake, so it's all good :)

Rachel, very true about signs being misleading at times. Not an easy thing to read them and some only become obvious after the 'damage' is done!..

CC, something like that is a great sign to be thankful for - I love it when on elittle things just suddenly makes everything seem so clear and you suddenly know what to do.

  8. I do too! Except sometimes it's hard to see them, especially when you're too emotionally involved in something. Wish I was better at finding them.

  9. Shannon, I definately know what you mean! But it seems to me that that's the whole point - you are given the signs and then it's up to you to see them or not, to follow or not... Life wouldn't be as interesting if we just always got the signs and followed blindly ;)

  12. JP, depends on how you look at it I guess... I get both good and bad signs and act accordingly. Sometime a sign of something bad can prevent you from getting into trouble!
