On the Dark Side

I'm thankful for the movies that show a darker side of a human mind and nature. The darkly dreaming characters make me feel understood. Such a rare feeling, really.

P.S. For your reference, my one and only and all time favorite TV series is Dexter. There's no other show that I've seen each and every episode of.

  7. Wow! You dark devil, you ;)

My hair stylist is a 'Dexter' fanatic and always tries to get me to watch it. I'm sure I will. In the meantime, I'm stuck on a show called 'How to Make It in America'

  8. Graham, be aware of your hair stylist! When the hair stylist is a Dexter fanatic one should be vary of the scissors in their hands haha JK lol at dark devil, but I always used to say there was a dark dark side to me lol

  10. I have never seen one episode of Dexter.. I just have seen tv trailer of the last season here in France, it seems nicely dark!
For my part, I like 'Doctor House' for his nonconformism and his unsociable way of life.. it often make me laugh!

  11. I always enjoy the movies that can portray human frailty in a funny way...this makes me feel understood and keeps me on my toes to see the humor in my own quirks!

  12. Guillaume, I heard Doctor House was good, but somehow never got around to watching a single episode of it!

Gropius, these ones are good too!!

  13. Ah, totally understand what you mean by understood..
I always tell DH that dark side is not ugly, it is just help us and others to understand each other better... "It takes all kinds to be the world, isn't it?" :)

I am a very GRAY person when something is involved w/ others. (for myself, I held a high standard, black n' white is very distinguished from each other!)

DH and I started watching Dexter couple weeks ago but didn't get INTO it..I don't know why! Maybe partly because I think all that act is simply human n' nothing seems wired to me at all. haha.... Therefore, I'd rather see something more positive to help me think "positive" to others!!! hahahaha...... That's make a whole lot sense, right?!!

  14. Rachel, I see what you mean! I think it's good to be tolerant to others and have a high standard for yourself - it's a rare quality, but one I value a lot!
