Long Distance

As much as distance can make people grow apart, it can equally make their bond grow stronger. I can really say that some of my most valuable friendships wouldn't be possible if they didn't have to stand the test of long distance. Miles and kilometres between put a friendship to the truest test, helping you see another person under a whole new light. It takes some wholehearted dedication to keep such friendship alive, and if friends go all the way it sure means something.

  1. LOVE LOVE LOVE. This especially strikes me as iam currently in a long distance relationship and most of my close friends live in other cities/countries. Completely agree with this, the dedication you put into to keeping the friendship alive shows the other person how much you truely care which can only bring you closer together.

  2. ..that's so TRUE ..I have only long distance relationships now and true friends are still there for me , it really shows you what is real and what is not ..and we still close friends and meeting when we can in our country , but it's more different now as we 3 friends live in 3 different countries ..
but with love it's different , in my case we couldn't really be appart so we moved together : ) ..but anyway - long distances are very fustrating ,because you can't just reach somebody in minutes , you can't pop for a tea , you can't have hug ...but you can always keep the good in your heart and memories ..ehhh..

  3. I agree... if a relationship can survive the long distance, then it is real. Have a great day Julia! xoxo

  4. Isn't that true? I have a few phenomenal friendships with people I rarely see. We can always pick up right where we left off--it's more about the connection than it is about the circumstance.

  5. My best friends live in four different cities and none of them are mine. We're still just as close as ever!

  6. So true! Some of the friends I met and grew close with and then moved away have become some of my closest friends through email etc. We talk deeper and every point of contact we have becomes deeper.

  7. I so agree. All my best friends live out of state. Which makes me sad sometimes knowing I can't just call them up to have a picnic or go out for a drink. But I do know that if we don't talk for years, when we do finally catch up, it's like no time passed at all :) xo
