Mondays

This might sound unusual, but I realized I liked Mondays. They're like new beginnings - bring new hopes, new goals, new accomplishments. I'm thankful to Mondays, because I get to wake up early and enjoy my early morning breakfast, not feeling sleep-deprived like it sometimes happens later in the week, and I'm thankful to Mondays, because I get to reminisce about the good weekend that passed but is still fresh in my memory, and I am thankful to Mondays, because I look forward to an upcoming weekend with a positive attitude and determination to spend it even better than the one just passed.

  8. when i was still working and everything was so stressful, i hated mondays with fervor! that was one of the reasons i re-opened my blog.. just so i could make it a point to find something good about my monday. i'd call it my happy mondays post! which is why its so rare (and refreshing!) to see someone being thankful for a monday :)

  9. Ooo, k- I always get excited when you post pictures of yourself haha- I love your outfit so much~! and your ring. And Russia looks beautiful, sorry- I'm like eating up all the imagery! I'm glad you like Mondays, I see what you mean but today mine was so busy at work that I just wanted to call it a day.

PS- thanks for thinking of me with the Van (von?) Persie soccer player :) I like that.

  10. Well, since it means being alive, I guess that'd make me thankful. I'd take waking up alive on Monday, over being deceased on Friday anyday!!

  13. so funny! I totally remember this post. And isn't it funny how your inclination about Mondays on my post is the same thing you wrote about in June? And I was excited to see another picture of you which is what I was about to say and I wrote that back in June as well! too funny.
