Accidental Matching

I love it when it happens! It brings such a sweet moment of silly outburst of delight and joy, that it's worth being thankful for!.. Seriously, I can't help but enjoy it when I just arrange something quickly only to realize how well it matches. The latest example of such thing is my weirdest ever dinner pictured above - I love how the plate's and the bowl's hemlines' trimmings are so similar, and how I happened to put my green grapes on the plate that features a drawing of green grapes... When I noticed, I just had to take a picture. Pure joy, ha!

P.S. The grapes are not THAT giant, it's just that the wine bottle is really small.

  3. What a beautiful accident... love the grapes on the grape platter.

And this is dinner? I really have to follow your lead, eat less during dinner. I seriously need to cut down on my food intake.

Have a great day Julia! xoxo

  4. Ellinelle, that's cottage cheese, right! I huess the plate can be considered vintage since it's most probably was bought by mom long before I was born lol

jeune_premier, this is a very funny comment! I'd like to meet your wife now... Your statement sounds interesting :) lol

Leah, this is not really my usual dinner. Since I've got my metobolism revved up and running nicely I can allow myself lots more food, this dinner happanned when I didn't have much food at home so had to east whatever was available lol I don't even like grapes that much!..

  5. Yumyum! My grandpa used to eat cottage cheese all the time so when I was little I always thought it was like, the senior version of baby food! Haha, but it's pretty delicious! =)

This picture is so nice, that I would actually starve. I wouldn't eat it because I would be staring at it for a while...

  12. Guillaume, haha no problem, mail me your answers :) I'm really into food and I do take a whole lot of pictures of it... I don't even know what would happen once I get my hands on a pro camera! Can't wait to buy one, hopefully some time this year.

  13. Ha Ha, "The grapes are not THAT giant, it's just that the wine bottle is really small." That was really fun! One more thing, I almost cried when I saw the pug puppy in a previous post, those dogs mean the world to me, I used to have one in the past (with my ex) and now I can't see him anymore. OK, let's smile now.

  14. Froso, the bottle's really miniature, it's smaller than a egular beer bottler haha Sorry to hear about your "pug experience", it's real sad when people part ways with each other and have to part ways with beloved pets due to it too.

  16. haha i love it! i never really thought about how great accidentally matching is, but when i used to live with my sister we would often come out of our rooms wearing the exact same (or exact opposite) thing and burst out laughing. and now i want grapes...
