Berries & Mascarpone

As I am supposedly attending a friend's birthday celebration tonight, and this friend always cooks the most amazing stuff for her parties, it made me think of desserts. So today I want to give 'official' thanks for the most delicious berry dessert I've ever had. I mentioned 10 Corso Como's bookstore in Milan before, but their cafe is another thing worthy of a separate post. But not today, today it's all about their raspberries and currants with mascarpone cheese cream!..

  8. Wow that looks really good...I am a big fan of blueberries, raspberries or blackberries. The only berry I don't really like is strawberry! I usually have berries with yoghurt...they taste so yummy!

  17. Graham, and it was equally delicious!! :) Glad you noticed the presentation, I really liked it too. And well, it shouldn't come as a surprise that I'm a huge chocolate addict myself lol

Rachel, mascarpone is perfect for all sorts of desserts! It's texture and flavor are so similar to yogurt and creams so I guess it's part of the reason why it goes great with fruit too!
